That time of year.............

It is that time of year - leaves are beginning to fall from the trees, everyone is back at school and the 'c' word is looming.......(Christmas!).  Why then should you be thinking about your school/establishment's sex and relationships delivery?
What with everything else you need to do why should this be top of your list?  Well...........

There is a wealth of evidence to support a 'life long learning' approach to SRE.  Why wait until the summer of Year 6 (as is the case in many primary schools) to deal with 'growing up' issues when you can be dealing with them across the curriculum many times throughout the year.  Little and often......
What about the older ones - the ones who are out to embarrass you in the classroom?  If you look at the job description for teenager, embarrass your teachers is in there!  However, if you are prepared and know your stuff you can bounce that comment around so that you are not embarrassed.  We are not saying embarrass the student but having a rebuttal ready is very handy.
There will of course be the schools that will not want to touch this topic - that is where we come in.  We have a variety of sessions ready for primary schools that can be tweaked to fit your situation.  For secondary schools we can bespoke you some sessions or we have a ready made 'Cotswold Model' that will deal with lots of relationship/mental health/drugs issues with days all ready for Year 8, 10 or 12, a combination of these or all of them.
And don' t think we have forgotten about FE and HE - we have delivered extensive work in those settings, particularly (but not exclusively) focussing on SEN.
